Dome Days at the NMU Superior Dome
in Marquette continue to be a popular
activity for homeschoolers. Please
remember that the gathering place
and coat drop-off for this function is at the bleachers ACROSS the Dome in
Section 20 (NOT in Section 3). Parents
and children, PLEASE observe this as
we want to do a good job of honoring
NMU’s request and maintaining a
good testimony. We had a bit of an issue with our testimony last year, so please observe these guidelines for Dome Day:
Here are their rules:
1. Parents MUST accompany
children (no drop-offs allowed).
2. Parents, keep children from
running and actively playing in
the bleachers. The bleachers
are for quiet sitting only!
3. No playing in the sand pit. It is
only for NMU students.
4. Tennis shoes (with NO black
soles that mark up the floor)
are required. No bare feet or
stocking feet!
5. No rollerblades or skateboards.
6. No scooters of any kind. Big
wheels for the little ones (with
plastic wheels) are acceptable,
but only inside the netted area.
7. Balls and jump ropes are welcome;
some equipment is provided.
8. The play area is inside the Dome. Make sure tag or any other games don't spill out into the hallway.
9. Be alert to walkers at either end of the Dome.

COST: $1.00 per child
TIME: 9:30 a.m.-noon
DATES: December 1, January 12, February 2, and March 9.
