Oct 20th, 2010 - Harbor/Miner's Park Day--10 AM

Harbor Days are homeschool play days down at the Mattson/Lower Harbor play-ground in Marquette. Dates are on the third Wednesday of the month (spring/summer/fall). Most families begin showing up at 10:00 a.m. Many bring sack lunches and make a day of it. It’s a great opportunity to fly a kite, play Frisbee, etc. Some of the teens jump into the water (are they crazy?) or head to the beach in the afternoon. Questions? Want to go to Harbor Day, but sometimes let the drive, cost, and the time involved deter you? Then come enjoy the fellowship of other homeschool families from Ishpeming and Negaunee at the new Miner's Park. We'll meet at the same time (10am), and you can grab some Subway, bring a sack lunch, or stop by one of the fast food places on your way home. Either way, enjoy the chance to get together a little closer to home:)
